Extremely dry face?

I use to have really oily skin and I had started to use face washes and thigs to get rid of all the oil, which it did. For about a month my face was just right not to oily not to dry. Well lately my face has become extremely dry, I've got tiny bumps all over my face (not acne) and little red splotches all over my face. How do I get my face to not be so dry? And what are these bumps called?

Well they might be either black/white heads. Get a black head scrub and only use it once-twice a week at most. That should clear it up a little. Secondly, you need to change the brand of face wash you are using, and rather use your hands instead of a facecloth (less germs, healthier) or try a different cream, as you might find that you are mildly allergic to an ingredient and this is a long term effect.
