I've recently started working out more and trying to get fitter but I was just wondering if there's a certain period of time you should wait between workouts if your muscles tend to get sore the next day?
Totally depends on what you are doing. I would say a day minimum. You can do cardio one day and weights the next. If you want to get really hard core do a different set of muscles every other day and cardio in between. Just make sure to plan it well. Going for a run right after leg day can really hurt.

Muscles need 24h to reconstruct themselves basically, you just have to base your workout sessions on that time. Don't forget stretchings too, I mean it
I personally do it every other day.

you need time for your muscles to heal. Id workout for 2 days then the next day break
If you mean sets, 15 secs and to next set and 1 minute between different lifts
If you mean workouts, I lift at 4 everyday
