If this was your situation, what would you do?

Family health history suggests that by the time I'm thirty I will be infertile. I brought up this concern with Mum and after a moment of mulling this over she agreed and said I'm almost certainly correct about that.

I know this because my grandma got her uterus taken out at 28 due to some issues and my mum started getting those same issues at 27 but the doctors wouldn't let her have her uterus taken out until she was 38 because she was still 'healthy'.
(Issues being heamorhaging and intense pains in the abdomen)

I don't want to have kids until I'm in a stable condition but even though I'm only eighteen, the clock is seriously ticking.

What would you do if this were your situation?

Depending on your relationship situation, you could get married, have kids, and live happily ever after, you are still only 18. If not you could look into freezing some eggs, and a surrogate, but that is very expensive and complicated. Do the drs, not know why the women in your family are like this? No diagnosis?

Doctors have no idea. My mum got a pap and it came up with unusual results but the doctors couldn't figure out what it was. The most explanation they gave mum was that it was possibly pre-cancerous. But they really don't know.

That sucks. I would try my best to get into a stable, happy relationship, and start a family. Try to eat and stay healthy, and only use the egg freezing as an absolute last resort.

Don't worry about the "clock" It will be whatever it's going to be. Don't have a kid because the "clock is ticking" Make sure it's best for the child. When you're in stable condition and you are having it with a good man for a father as well.

Don't rush into a relationship just to have kids that's not fair for the kids. I reccomend freezing your eggs I had cancer when I was young and did so and now have 3 beautiful kids.

Have your egg's frozen when you turn 21 and then when you're ready to have kid's, you can.

Yes, but you really don't have any other choice if you want to have your own children. You could adopt? But that's also expensive. Having children isn't cheap.

I'd pop out kids in my mid 20's in your situation mind you I intend to do that anyway
