I'm extremely competitive?

Ok this is ruining my life. I'm extremely competitive and I always have to be the best. I can't stand the thought of losing and if I do lose my life falls apart. I was really competitive in school, I'm competitive at work and even around people such as friends and family. I get really pissed if I don't win.. Be it at anything. I am stressing myself out here, I can drive myself nuts and I have been outburned once at the age of fifteen. Help?

But I have no idea, other than maybe talk to someone about it; and keeping in mind that many millionaires and inventories often failed before they found success.

Eventually you'll realize that it's a big world and there's always going to be someone better than you.

Back in high school thought I was so awesome being fastest guy on track team only to have my ass wiped at the meet. But then nobody ran sub4 mile and the world record is 3:26 so yeah just know you won't be the best at anything.

Hey, you have the right to be the best you can be, and the only way you can find that out is by, duh, testing yourself against your surroundings.

I know what it's like to be in your position, trust me. The key is picking your fights and challenges with the RIGHT people. That's something that can only come with time. Remember, not everyone is looking to lock horns.
