Besides the obvious exercise aspect, you have to understand why you are bigger than you want to be. It all comes down to your diet. What you eat and how much makes such a significant difference. Right now, lets say your eating 3000 calories a day, but your only burning 2500 off. That extra amount has to get stored somewhere. The best solution is gradually cut back on how much you eat. Try eating slower, and maybe even smaller meals throughout the day. The best diet is the one you DONT know you're on. Don't try dieting for just a few weeks. You will lose weight, but then when you go off your diet your body is gonna put the weight back on and even add a few more pounds...just in case you decide to try it again. And remember, working out is a LIFESTYLE, you can't do it for 2 weeks and expect great things to happen. Hope this helps!

Drink only water, no fast food (or soda), exercise an hour a day, do not eat past 8pm, do not go to sleep with a full stomach, take a daily multivitamin, eat in moderation, stay away from red meats, no mayo, stay away from salt, stay away from sugars, start reading labels (this will help discourage you from eating things that are not good for you), but do treat yourself to a cheat once a week, do not eat out, stay away from alcohol. If you do this for the summer I PROMISE YOU that you will lose those ten pounds and probably more- all the while you will be learning a healthier way to approach food. Its energy not a hobby.
I find using websites like www.thedailyplate.com works really well. I'm also trying to lose 10-15lbs before summer and I started using this website a week ago and I've already lost a pound. It tells you how many calories you need to eat based on your weight, activity level and weight loss goals. you can also track the food you've eaten and calories you've burned.

what I do is idont eat anything at all. ONLY drink water. and run everyday. you lose weight so quickly. :) bt I'm sure there are healthier ways.
