i have thyroid issues, so i have to watch what i eat more than the average person and take synthetic hormones to keep from blowing up like a beached whale. so yes, i'm careful. but i don't obsess over calories or deprive myself of anything.
honestly, i almost never know the calorie/fat/sugar content of anything i eat~ i just keep portion sizes small, stop when i'm full, and indulge sparingly.

I don't really count calories, I find it too hard, I know my range and I have an idea of what i'm eating, sometimes I go over and sometimes I go under! But its just important to really do the whole 85% healthy rule, it'll keep you more sane!
I eat what I want. I just had my blood work done and my doc said everything couldn't be more perfect except my cholesterol was on the high side of normal. He said eat more oatmeal and it will come down some which I love oatmeal so no problem.
When I start a diet I'll count my calories the first couple days and then just be totally consistent so I'm "counting" my macros without, actually counting.

I used to be a big mess with eating, never really understood "counting calories" then I was introduced to Weight Watchers and their points/portions and did that for like a year and I learned to eat right for me, started becoming interested in healthy eating, etc. I don't count points anymore, but I am always mindful of the portion size of food, drinks, snacks.
The only way to maintain your weight is to count calories. You have to swim to burn off apple pie. Now that's a joke so don't take me literally but exercise alone does not do it. I maintain a 1400 cal diet, swim 3 times a week and I've been 99 pounds since I was 17 years old
I don't think it's healthy to be obsessive about what you put into your body. I'm doing my best to eat a healthy and balanced diet and to keep an eye on portion sizes. Counting calories is too much effort.
If I can actually eat it's a win for me. Just find a balance of what makes you happy and what is good for you.
I don't count calories. I tried doing that and it made me more hungry and crave junk foods more.
I just try to eat healthierI believe in a life of not counting up how many calories I eat, because then life will be about just counting up the calories I ate in a day than living life in general. It is a waste of energy.
I eat what I'd like to eat, and I try to be healthy. Everything in moderation is key.
It's easier to eat what I love but watch my portions and then try to workout a good amount as well.
I count calories and try (and sometimes fail) to eat healthy.
I don't count. I watch what I eat. And do research on what's good for me and what's not good for me.
