Girls, I just had another period after two weeks. Is that normal?

I'm 18 and my cycle is very irregular. It skips every other month but for some reason I had two periods this month. I googled " two periods in every two weeks" and found some pretty scary stuff. I will see a doctor pretty soon but did that happen to anyone else? I hope it's not a an ovarian cyst or something.

If you google symptoms. it always comes up with worse stuff than it actually is! Dig deep enough and it'll say terminal cancer eventually haha!

Irregular periods can happen to quite a few women, and it's good you're going to see a doctor. There are other symptoms associated with ovarian cysts so I doubt it's that. Even if it was, I can tell you that my mum had one once and it was taken care of quickly and it wasn't a scary ordeal :)
