And I worry about who will see me doing a lot of training because I know so many people.
Im just over not seeing results I want but too embarassed to hire one? ðŸ˜
You're paying them to help you get into shape. If you paid me to help you get into shape (don't know why you would, I'm thin but I hardly ever exercise) I don't think I'd insult you because you probably wouldn't want to be my client if I did that.
Personal trainers are personal, so you can have some say in the approach they use. If you prefer strict ask them to be strict. If you prefer nice, ask them to be nice. Personal trainers are in the business they are in to help people not to make them feel bad. They want to help you, whatever their approach.
Most personal trainers are a combination- strict and matter-of-fact but nice and friendly at the same time.
Last time I spoke to a personal trainer he was trying to guilt trip me into doing a session with him. It was horrible.
That does sound horrible. Don't sign up with that guy, most aren't like that.
Yeah i think he got kicked out, that was the first and last time I saw him
I work in a gym, so I know a lot about fitness and diets. However, my coworkers are all personal trainers with great credentials - one gave me a free 3 month session, he pushed me harder than I would have ever pushed myself.
Before that, I would have never thought a trainer could do much. But they each have their training secrets and it is definitely worth a shot.
Don't be embarrassed about it, trainers get people in all sorts of shapes and they will alter the program to your ability.
Thank you! Actually a personal trainer came up to me today and offered a free trial session for me, which is good. He doesn't seem too bad either, his on my level in terms of energy and personality. So I'll give him a run for his money! :P

I mostly train other bodybuilders but I have had clients that are obese. All that matters if the effort you put in and how motivated you are. I'll have more respect for the girl who's 100lbs over weight that's busts her ass in the gym rather than some already fit girl who goes to the gym to take selfies. I would never criticize to put a client down. I try and get them excited. You can message me if you have general questions.
Personal training is honestly going out the window. Nowadays anyone can YouTube how to workout and get some solid ideas on exercises
Yes. I like Marc Fitt, Bodybuilding. com & others just to change it up.
