For some time now, my mom always has abdominal and lower back discomfort along with elevated body temperatures. But only in the afternoons until nights. She said her breath becomes really hot when it is normal in the mornings. What te hell could be wrong with her?

i always recommend to see a doctor. I aske one of cousins about something similar and it's called (Ankylosing spondylitis) it doesn't mean she has it. There are many checks and tests should be done first.

I'd say you're Mum might be experiencing the early stages of menopause. Get her to a doctor ASAP.

Yeah we're planning in going tomorrow if she still has problems. It had been busy days, so it might just be exhaustion

That doesn't sound too normal, and it could be a possibility of pre-menopause. Have her get checked out at the doctors and they should be able to refer her to a specialist.

Then its either hormonal or something else that she may never got treated for. Kidney stones is a possibility as well. Either way, she needs to be checked out.
