A few days ago, I hit my head pretty hard. I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary at first, but the next day I developed a really intense migraine. Now I am extremely fatigued and can't seem to get enough sleep. I normally need the sleeping pill my doctor prescribed for me, but last night I was so exhausted that I went to bed without it, slept 9 hours, and still woke up extremely tired. Could I have a mild concussion of some sort? I've read you don't have to hit your head very hard to have some trauma so now I am wondering about this. I will be calling my doctor in the morning, but until then I thought I'd ask.
If it was me I'd wait until I called the doctor in the morning. But the smart thing to do is to not wait until morning and call or go to a doctor right now.
I don't have any medical training, but I don't like that combination of symptoms. It just doesn't sound like the kind of symptoms to ignore. Get a professional opinion right away. I think this is a case of better safe than sorry.
I would not take that sleeping pill either, nor any alcohol, drugs, etc.
