Are there people that really have perfect teeth?

One of my mother's friend once claimed to never had a single cavity in her life and no extractions (not even a wisdom tooth). She has all perfect 32 teeth.

Meanwhile, I already come from a family full of members (including both of my parents) that either already had root canal done, had extractions, implants or fake teeth... basically terrible genes. One of my brother's cousin is only 15 and already has a fake tooth for 3-4 years.

The only reason I've never had root canal nor fake teeth is because I brushed my teeth twice a day every day and had several fillers done ever since I was 12 years old. I just had 4 fillers done today in the morning and 1 last week.

Even then years ago in my early 20's, one of my molars already had a cavity and according to the dentist, a couple mls more and it would have reached the nerve; she saved it on time. She had to put anesthesia on it because it was kind of deep. Years later, I had to get two lower wisdom teeth extracted because they grew horizontally instead of vertically. So now I have 30 teeth and basically if it wasn't for me brushing them every day, cutting down on sugar and candies and going to follow-up visits after certain time... I would have already had terrible teeth.
