You have a high metabolism and your body burns energy faster than you can eat, which is good for now, but when you get older, that metabolism slows down because you get less active. If you would like to gain weight, put on muscle by working out, you won't look bulky like those women body builders (I think they use steroids), but you'll look healthy and fit, and I don't think any guy would not be attracted to that.

no i imagine it's just your genetics and/or metabolism.
i weighed about 110lbs up until college when i got to 130-135 and around age 28 i was able to start gaining weight and now weigh 150. but when i was younger i worked out like mad and ate tons and literally couldn't gain weight
Please Here, dear. Make an Appointment to See your Doctor for Some... Blood Work. You could have Diabetes or even an Overactive Thyroid, and even Something with your Digestion system.

You must lead a very active lifestyle, and/or you work out. You can eat a lot and not gain weight if you aren't eating high calorie foods and your lifestyle is as described.
You will gain weight, but when you reach your 30's. lol.
At 18, your body is a monster with metabolism.
You can use some dietary supplements, but that may do damage if done improperly.it will come with time. i promise you. don't pursue it. i learnt the hard way.
