Have you ever had surgery? If so, what for?

I had a hernia operation when I was younger. I have a small scar from it but that's about it. I remember my parents bought me anything I wanted. I got an Easy Bake oven, these really neat sticker coloring books and was allowed to eat whatever I wanted on top of missing school.

And when my sisters and I needed braces we all had to get four teeth removed because we have small mouths. That wasn't fun. And then three years ago I had my four wisdom teeth removed too.

So, what about you?

I did have a procedure done,but it didn't involve skin cutting or loss of blood.I had stomach problems when I was younger and the doctors couldn't determine what it was and they were scared I had cancer(stomach I guess) and they put me under anesthesia and stuck a camera down my throat,only to determine I had IBS lol.The worst part of it,my doctor had to check me anus,so he stuck his finger up there which was NOT fun.

I do want to get cosmetic surgery.I want a breast lift + areola reduction and...MAYBE a nose job,but my mom says I don't need one,I think I do.I also have to have all 4 wisdom teeth taken out.

i broke my toe twice.. that sucked because bone was too tiny to do anything so they said it had to heal on its on... horrible. on my left hand my pinki tip got cut off and had to sew back on you can still see the big scar. when I was small I fell and hit my head on a wooden step had to get stiched on above my eye, massive burns when I was a chef... I guess those aren't considered operations, but lets just say that me and the hospital were good friends and they saw me often =) =(

I wasn't going to answer because its a bit embarrassing and this question was posted several days ago. But seeing your answer makes it alright I think lol. I had the hernia surgery also! 3 times in fact. what a coincidence. But I didn't know girls could get it too. What caused it for you?

I don't think it's embarrassing. I think I got my hernia from lifting my sisters up in the pool a lot one summer. I've only had it operated on once, thankfully.

my testicle got twisted in my ball sack, SO PAINFUL! but after a 30 minute surgery I was all good and have full use of both balls still. whew! :)

I had my adenoids out and a hole inside my nose widened when I was 4.

I had a few surgeries in my ear canals when I was 5, because I was almost completely deaf.

And I got my tonsils out when I was 16.

I got a teddy bear each time :)

Yes, I had to have some broken bones corrected. Teeth removed. When I was younger I had an operation where they looked at my heart through a tiny camera. I didn't get anything, I don't see why I should have..

I had oral surgery to remove my wisdom teeth when I was 16. And around this time last year, I had my appendix taken out.

I haven't, but my sister had spinal surgery (she had really bad scoliosis). She got a cheap TV out of it (and a straight spine obviously...)
