Have you ever had surgery?

I've had 4 or 5 spinal surgeries so far and I'm supposed to have another one in the very near future so I'm curious if you guys have had any surgeries so far.

I smashed the bones in my arm to dust when I was 16 and had to have surgery.

Had my Miata jacked up in the garage and was adjusting the ride height on my coilovers when something in the jack fucked up and brought the entire car down on me. The brake disc annihilated my left forearm. Literally, I'm lucky the fully compressed jack was still tall enough to stop the thing chopping my arm off. Looked like a bag of wet gravel when they got it off me. Never have I ever screamed so much in my life. It hurt so much at one point I think it stopped hurting because my brain was like 'y'know what fuck it, this guy's had enough, let's just switch off for a bit'.

Moral of the story is USE FUCKING AXLE STANDS.

I've had a surgery to remove all except a tiny tiny bit of my bowels and what was supposed to be a 4 day recovery turned into me being stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks due to internal bleeding and a bunch of other crap haha

That sucks. I hate hospitals. Last time I was supposed to be in the hospital for at least a week and I left after 2 days because I hate being there

Yeah it sucks! But I was so drugged up most of the time it wasn't to bad haha one of the worst parts that also competed with the pain was the tube from my nose into my stomach 😷

I forget why but I had to have a tube from my nose to my stomach once and I'm still traumatized

i have. it was both cosmetic and medical.
i had a few fairly large moles on my face that made me feel so shitty, but i was also in fear that they might be cancerous. the sun is strong here, so i got them removed. was awake the whole time :D

I broke my arm a while back and had to get surgery to put them back together with a screw :/

Yeah I had a blood clot in my whole right arm that was very close to going to my chest. They have to remove that like 3 times or so. I forgot how many times. Since that blood clot was caused by circulation problems in my arm they had to remove my first rib on the left side and part of a neck Muscle. I was in the hospital for 6 days and then went home for a week and then had to go back for another 5 days because I got blood clots again

Yes, I've had oral surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. They had to cut my gums open to get them out, so I was put under anesthesia.

I had "Tympanoplasty" BACK in 2013. There was a hole in my left eardrum. So I had to repair it by a surgery. :)
