what should I do?
how do I tell him?
(btw I'm 17 I don't know how to change the age thing)
Well, you'll probably get a bunch of answers on here telling you not to go for it and be wary of players, etc etc. And they will all be completely correct. You shouldn't get involved with this guy.
However, you already seem to be aware of all this and have made up your mind to go for it anyways, so here's some advice that might help.
First, if he's a player and is used to landing all sorts of girls, and you go and tell him how you feel, well, then whatever respect he had for you will go away. Its true. Women work the same way.
So if you want a genuine relationship with this guy, or at least a shot at one (instead of just being another insecure girl who was an easy conquest), then you need to pick up your game. Start by walking with your head held high whenever you're around him. And when you talk to him, flirt casually so he knows you're interested, but act like you're just a little bit out of his league.
Now you've turned the tables, and it's him who is going to have to work for your affections. He's a player because he's good at making himself out to be the prize (I know because I do the same thing), but the one thing that no man, especially a player, can resist is a woman who is truly a prize worth winning over.
Whatever you do, don't tell him how you feel. Wait until you are in a relationship with him for that.
Okay I guess your right. its just so hard to wait because I don't think that it will ever happen. I need to wait for another guy to come around before I can forget about him.
You're better than that. Don't waste time with guys who have sex with a lot of girls. Not to mention you need to protect yourself from STDs. Honestly, I've seen this so many times before, be with someone who appreciates you. You will be no different to him than the other girls he is with, just someone else he fooled into saying yes. Don't get taken advantage of. The guy in 3 years will probably be overweight and a total dirtbag. I'm 24, and like I've said, have seen it plenty of times before. Just think about it and make the right decision. You'll feel better about it later.
