How important is physique for a girl?

Say if a guy wasn't in shape at first, but then the girl sees him again a couple months later and he's gotten in more shape and bigger muscles? Good bad Doesn't matter?

girls are a lot more forgiving about physical flaws. most guys I've liked have been on the skinny/lanky side, not very muscular. I've also liked a guy that was heavier. Not fat or obese, just bigger and 'softer" I guess you could say, who also didn't have drop-dead gorgeous looks. I've said it once and I'll say it again, the thing guys should mostly concentrate on is their communication skills and other areas of their personality.
