How do you handle stress at work?

I'm an engineer by trade and work as a prefab wall frame designer and there's quite a bit of stress involved, basically having to deal with rectificaciones on site from time to time and having to meet production deadlines.

I struggle to dissipate stress because unlike other colleagues I work with, I can't not give a fuck and just walk out the door at my nominated time and not deal with it all.

How do you deal with deadlines and stress?

I have a similar kind of job but in heavy engineering, If your like me you'll bottle it up til some thing gives, usually at the wrong time /person, see if you can find a gym that has a heavy bag (or buy one if you have the room) to give you something to dump the stress into, also look up tidal breathing online, it basically deep rhythmical breathing and combine it with mellow relaxing music to give you something to follow until you can do it without the music. ultimately you have to find away of dumping the stress either develop one of your own or find one or it will make your life a misery, been there don't want to repeat it.

I remind myself that I’m fortunate to have a job that allows me to pay my bills and pay for holidays. I look at any part I enjoy or am proud of. Then I look at my stress. I ask is there anything I can do to fix whatever it is that’s upsetting me. If yes I brainstorm for solutions. If not then I manage my stress by making time for relaxation.
