Of course. That’s why we eat meat, to fatten us up, and give us most of our protein. It’s good for you. As long as you don’t over do it. Everything in moderation
Well at my age fattening up isn't a good thing. When I was 20 and weighed 95 pounds I needed some fattening up. I wanted to eat more meat to maintain better bone health since that is an issue for me.
For some people, it is hard. If you stick to greens, low meat, and fish and eggs, you will be healthier. Don't believe in people saying you need certain food for certain nutrients. Doesn't work that way. I studied. Eat light, more plants, and no meat, if possible. Works.
Been without meat for 1 1/2 days now and my body feels a bit better this morning. Brain not so much. Seems brain and body balance is the difficult part.
My weight is very less and still my trainer asked me to burn fat. Its called skinny fat. I know a girl on instagram who almost covered the front side of a car in a pic and next pic showed her body 3 times less than earlier. I follow a lot of fitness accounts on instagram and talk to people so I know what's possible. I have seen many senior people gaining muscles at such age. Last month I came across a suicidal girl on a dating site and she said it hurts her more when people pass negative comments because of her body. All we need is motivation. Motivation comes from self realization.
Yes I would be considered skinny fat. People look at me and say your are thin including medical people but I am carrying quite a bit of body fat for my size. I don't think I'm thin I think I fall in the range of normal body weight for my height and age. The average Japanese woman in her 50s weighs 116 pounds which is good. We just have a skewed thing about normal weight is.

You need to exercise. You can't just eat meat and lose weght.
Are you adding meat to what you normally eat or are you incorporating it into your diet.
Because if you are just adding it to what you already eat, well you're eating more.
Ah more calorie intake.
Being vegan is not healthy long term... it’s ok to eat mostly vegetables... but have meat every once in a while to stay balanced.
Maybe we should try your mom's puzz to get B12 since there is no other source
