What do you think of when you hear Alabama?

I live in alabama and I'm vegetarian, drive a lexus, and I get good grades. The only stereotypical thing I do is that I love to shop at walmart, bass pro, and tractor suppy but that's because I have 2 horses :D

When I hear Alabama I think about, racists, hate groups, over religious people, polio, intolerance, cotton, low payed workers and huge income disparity. A lot of other things as well but they are too many.

Some good things include Southern weather, food... and that's about it.

Well I have three cars. Two Toyotas and a Volkswagen.

The older Toyota is one the family got back in 98 to transfer my father who was in a wheelchair and after he died it stayed in the kids name, which means I own it along with my sisters. The second Toyota we got in 07 when we decided we needed a smaller more efficient car for our commutes, which we now own with my older sister. The Volkswagen I got because my sister drives the other car when she's here for the summer and I drive have transportation.

wow. My family used to have one of those vans for wheelchairs that we got for my grandmother when she was alive. Toyota/lexus is the best type of car to get, so darn reliable :)

Also, I remember seeing a sign on a convenient store once that legal age to buy cigarettes in Alabama was 19. I found it odd. That's about all I remember about Alabama.

Lmao! Actually I live right by Alabama in Georgia and I think Alabama is alright but nothing special. As far as shoot raccoons and live in trailers, why would you be irritated by something like that. I would say yeah but that does mean I do. Ha ha! But it would be really funny if you did...

well...some of them are because I live in a very upscale area with not that many black people. I think that's so dumb though how there are still racists but I guess that's because alabama used to be extremely racist a long time ago
