My boyfriend snores!

And I'm a light sleeper. How do couples handle this situation? I love sleeping beside him, but it's hard for me to get a good nights sleep. I hate the idea of having to wear earplugs every night just to be able to sleep next to my own boyfriend. Are there any other options? Are there things people can do to help them snore less?

None of these things here suggested by these women will stop your boyfriend snoring.

May I ask...

Does he smoke

Is he overweight

Allergies

Does he sleep with his mouth open?

I could help you more if you provided with the details

Or if things got really bad, you could turn to sleeping in separate rooms:(...No nookie or cuddles

He doesn't smoke, he doesn't have allergies, he's not overweight, he opens his mouth a bit sometimes I think. I really don't want it to prevent us from sleeping together :(

He doesn't ALWAYS snore, either, but it does keep me up sometimes.

You could ask him to inhale hot steam before he sleeps, or there could be dust mites in the pillows which stop him from breathing in through the nose.

Try a synththetically filled pillow and new pillow liners to see and diffrence( It will take a day or two!

Even get him to sleep on his side, or on his front will help princess

go to sleep before he does? that way by the time he starts snoring you'll be knocked out

I can't rely on that for our schedules, plus he falls asleep really quickly, while I take some time to drift off. That might work for some, but not me! Thanks anyway though!

get the nasal strips that go on the outside of the nose or get that mouth tray that moves the mouth a certain way so that it opens the throat so it doesn't make noise... it allows for better air flow.
