If you eat too much junk in a day then start with salads, then gradually limit your junk that contains lots of carbs and switch to Protein rich foods like white meat, eggs, beans, nuts and avoid sugar.
Avoid overeating and try fasting. If possible go to gym or at least walk half hour a day. You'll see progress.

Cut the sugar. Carbs you can eat in moderation. Reduce all quantities of food except fruit and vegetables.
One cheat meal, meal not day, per week is fine and helps you mentally to stay on track.
