What Guys Said
Yes, due to the fact that most doctors are experts in medications rather than using the capability of the body and life choices to improve the situation. They do medical studies and spend significant amounts of money to research prescriptions, but not to research health improvements based on diet and exercises. I did doctors visits to get the data from blood tests and blood pressure readings, make my modifications or process and eliminate foods to verify allergies and effects, go back and retest to get the results.
If the results improve, I continue utilizing the method that improved the situation. I however work with them in the workplace, so my scenario might be different based on what I learn. I read a lot of medical papers and medical studies. I utilize doctors mostly to use proper equipment and testing to be able to prove pre-existing and post-existing data. I do find doctors useful in making a list of potential diagnoses, but I avoid the prescriptions in most cases in my scenarios since the side effects have often outweighed the benefits. I utilize surgeons if there is growth of matter that is harmful to the body, etc. I would not advise against using a doctor as it takes a serious commitment and determination for a person to be able to make an accurate and appropriate decision as well as being very strict in the consistency to compile accuracy. Some scenarios if left untreated can get worse over time if not properly detected and traced to the root cause. I am not a licensed doctor to give medical advise to patients.A year ago I went to a psychiatrist for my physical anxiety, that was a horrible visit. He literally hardly listened to me, poked my stomach, asked if I had been abused as a kid, told me I had a possible cancer mole on my back, prescribed me 2 medications and sent me out the door. Literally spent 25 minutes TOTAL in the hospital, 15 of which was him just kind of bulldozing me and the bill was like $760. It took me another 8 months of therapy and slowly taking myself off the medication to get better
I took out my own stitches once,
