When I put my feet down fleas would jump on my legs and bite. So this is we did. We rented a hot water shampoo cleaner, added a clear disinfectant in the hot water and shampooed all our carpets including under the chairs, sofas, and beds. We moped all the hard surface floor with a disinfectant. We bought a bottle of outdoor tick and flea spray and sprayed our entire yard and even part of the neighbors. Finally, we set off several fogger bombs and left for a few hours. We haven't had any more fleas.

Its not the dog its the environment. It looks like you need to spray the yard and possibly bomb the house. I would see a vet and get something prescribed. I always use that expensive gray collar my dog that lasts about 6 months. She doesn't get any fleas but I think I just live in an area that has no fleas. I also give her her heartworm medicine which I think also helps with kill any larvae or eggs.
You should feed her a raw egg with a little bit of minced garlic and organic cold press coconut (half a t spoon) a few times a week. this way you can fight them from the inside out the fleas don't like the taste of the garlic. The coconut and raw egg will help her heal her skin. You can use oatmeal bath that you use for a baby the powder but keep in mind that it does get stuck to the fur so you'll have to comb her out gently.
Mine have an issue with ticks and mites. We are 'outdoors'' a lot.
What really helps us here: I use a repellent powder, and the rest is grooming, grooming and more grooming.
I use a soft wire brush; they love it, because it's a great way of cuddling and ''bonding'' at the same time.
As your buddie's skin is 'raw' as you say, it could be helpful to look into her diet: fatty acids are important for good skin and fur.
Shampoos are not such a good idea when the baths are frequent. The skin is then too challenged, I think.
We take a daily bath here in a nearby pond - I believe to see that it's helpful to get rid of parasites, but without the ''chemical bomb'' coming with it.
You don't mention your dog's age. During ''puberty'' they tend to naturally have some hair and skin issues.
. What's that anti-itch lotion do humans put on starts with a B damn I can't remember what it's called but anyway your veterinarian will give you some pills and you got to put it in some meat let your dog eat it I was going to drive me crazy I can't think of the name of that but it stops them from itching shampoo if you can give him a bath everyday hopefully your dog likes water and there's certain types of shampoos that you can use and I would do it as soon as possible because that has to be very painful for your dog

I had this problem years ago with my yorkee and here is what worked for me...
Add a small amount of apple cider viniger a bath full of warm water.
I added enough viniger to the point where it was dialuted and had a very light scent, but not strong enough to burn the dogs skin.
Let the dog soak in the warm water for about 10 minutes. Then bathe the dog as normal and the flees should be gone! My pup had a really awesome peaceful sleep that night ☺️🐶.
But the only thing is that flees usually infest the furniture and carpet as well - so in order to rid the dog permanently, you may have to vaccume A LOT and treat the carpet accordingly.
Repeat the bath 2-3 times that week if needed. You will notice far less itching by the dog and that there are also far less flees when you bathe the dog as well. Eventually the dog will be and remain completly fleeless.
Good luck!- s
Time to take her to a vet if her skin is raw, you should also flea bomb under your house and around it. If you live in a sandy or dirty area, fleas are likely to come through your floorboards and stay in the house for your dog. Flea treatments on your dog clearly aren’t working which means the fleas are continuously coming from somewhere nearby.
We have eucalyptus trees. They naturally repel fleas and ticks. My dogs walking through the leaves is enough to be effective.
If you have any in your area.. Aside from bathing your dog as the vet says, and keeping bedding clean. Put small bags of eucalyptus leaves in woman's ankle stocks around the home. Under beds and couches, etc. it will prevent them from staying behind in the house. Not to sound stupid but are you sure it's flea's and not the soap that you are using that she may be alergic to and is causing her to scratch soo much? We had that problem with our lab and we changed the bath soap and it cured him.
Have you tried deep cleaning your carpet? aNd then bathing him? If that doesn't work your apartment should provide you with an extermiinator cause if its in your place the pets wil not stop getting it until its gone in the house. Or you may need the vet. I know petsmart lets you rent a carpet cleaner for like 60$.
Sorry pal, unless you get doggo some prescription pills for that, you're never going to be free of those bloodsuckers! I use brevecto once a month on my dog, he takes the pill hidden in some cheese and it absolutely works.
They are in your residence and yard. Outdoor and Indoor Exterminator
was goingto suggest diamataceous earth (edible), not sure how that go on inflammed skin. it kills little bugs like this.
make sure using pet soap, maybe for sensitive skin. human soap no good. You need to remove the source also. So if you got fleas in the apartment you can wash that dog to no end.
An oral flea prevention like Nexgard or Bravecto… and THAT is directly from the mouth of a veterinarian!
there is a flea collar
it might be kinda expensive but it's easier and it works not sure if that one does I don't know where i bought my dog oneMy dog gets a monthly pill to help from the vet. It is for his heart, but it stops fleas. I would also get an exterminator for the outside of your house, to take care of any bugs outside
Time to contact your vet, and an exterminator, fluffy may be getting them right back form your house.
Need to know what the fleas are sick with to tell how to cure them.
Take her to the vet. They can use professional flea treatments that should help.
Easy, just put some dog shampoo on it, rinse it, dry your dog and sprinkle some anti flea powder on it
Have you taken her to vets and had some decent flea treatment?
a Friend of mine gave his dog a few spoonful of garlic oil in every month to get rid fleas
NexGard is all my dog likes and it does kill fleas & ticks she may have in fact my Vet is who recommended it.
I have a Pittbull/Boxer and have always found PetArmor in between his shoulders Quite literally Effective with fleas, ticks, mosquitoes etc.
