Anyone experienced vivid or weird dreams after taking melatonin?

I don't take melatonin regularly but the other day I took one pill because I needed to sleep during the day and I slept for almost five hours without waking up. Then a few days later I took another one but this time I had the most random dreams between 8pm-3am I woke up a few times in between but whenever I fell asleep I had the weirdest dreams ever. Anyone had a similar experience before?

Nope, not after taking Melatonin. I have always had scary vivid dreams.

I couldn't remember any of my dreams the next morning after I took Melatonin.

I usually dream a lot too but with melatonin I feel like I'm in the inception movie.

Dreams are like the most bizarre movies ever.
For me they are most vivid if I wake up around 3 and go back to sleep. Very vivid then

Sometimes I'd rather stay awake than going back to sleep otherwise the same dream keeps going.
