Just kidding lol. We are mostly good. To honestly answer your question, if you have an issue with dating partners that have long hours, odd shifts, and stressful shifts, avoid emergency and critical care professions.

There aren't any positions in healthcare that I would completely avoid dating, but there are certain specialties you should steer away from if you are worried about what I mentioned above.

I'd date a chiropractor. I had a very bad back injury years ago to the point that I could barely walk at all and over time a chiropractor was able to fix the problem. No surgeries, no medication, and I am fine now, back to being able to play sports, lift weights, etc. Plus they have normal work hours. The odd work hours is the main reason I would avoid dating most medical personnel. A pharmacist that works regular hours would probably be okay too.

A physician. I didn’t have much in common with the nurses I’ve dates. I think I would have more to talk about with an MD. But not a chiropractor, I don’t believe in that.
