I will say the number one exercise you could do is run, running is hard but it is the fastest way you could get in share and burn the most calories.
Power walk through the mall while you shop.
Try cooking healthier meals at home.
Zumba, swimming, belly dancing are great classes to do as well.
To get encouraged Youtube, and MTV's I Used to Be Fat is a great motivator. Do affirmations to yourself daily and stay positive. :)

run, maybe pick up a sport (I play soccer and some of my heavier friends started playing too and they lost a lot of weight and gained muscle), squats (lots!), sit ups/crunches, push ups, planks, walk, lift weights. watch what you eat link . link

If you can and have the money, join a gym or rec center. They usually have trainers there and will give you some free trails upon enrolling. They will help you access your BMI, your ideal weight according to your age and height and help you develop a work out plan to reach your goal. They also may have an on-site nutritionist to help with diet.
