So I went to the gym for my second day.
But this time, I went around 2:00 instead of 10:00. And there were a lot less “sweats” and intimidating athletic guys around. It was just average joes and the normies. So I wasn’t really in my head at all this time. I wasn’t worrying about other people. I did my own thing and that was that. Said hi to a guy I recognized even.
However, I was still nervous like my first time. Naturally my stomache still felt pretty off and so I decided not to start running or doing abb workouts and I focused strictly on arms and legs.
But regardless I managed to stay there for a pretty long time. When I first got there I was just playing basketball solo for 45 minutes to “loosen up” as my friend suggested I do. Then my arms felt all nice and stretched and I went around to doing workouts for an hour.
However after that hour I felt as though I’d done everything I could think of so I left. So how can I make myself feel more engaged? I just need more ideas.
Naturally I get that running and abbs would add more shit to do but I don’t feel ready for that just yet with all my anxiety I’m dealing with. When my stomache already feels off I’m kinda afraid to actually use it.
So if anyone knew of any arms/legs workouts that I could cycle through in a particular order with rep counts, that’d be cool to me!
And also if I should do certain things to help recover from muscle fatigue, or start using certain pills, vitamins, or energy drinks for muscle growth and replenishment.

Skinny stick:high proteins and Carbs. Not powder but meats, soy, any beans. Lots. Every other day… Circuit training heavy weights slow 8-10 lifts x 3. If you want to do legs (waist down) one day and waist up other that’s fine too. IF you can’t do the diet and sleep 7-9 hours then you are making it unlikely for noticeable change.
Fat then no carbs and same routine. May 1, if do this correctly and starting 12/1, will be “look at me” in mirror day.
IF FAT and do cardio/HIIT then results will be quicker.
IF Stick-Man and do Cardio then Never any mass of muscle.

Nah man I actually have really improved in this area. As it stands I’ve cut out soda and sugar completely from my diet and I always make sure to balance between salad, meat and carbs.
And I am keeping a set sleep schedule as well. I’m still trying to go to bed earlier but regardless of how I feel in the morning I still always force myself outta bed and don’t return to my room until after 8pm.

And I am definitely stick man lol. But I should still probably eventually start to run and shit just do I don’t become overweight in the future when metabolism slows
All you do is pull weeds, clean bat, walk stairs and stay busy. Metabolism works at Rest too. That’s why sleep and high activity are important. Continued fat lost and healing 👍
i'd do a light workout on legs and arms and then start shooting hoops. i could shoot 3's easy after getting this warm up
Interesting. So it helps activate everything
yep. just something to warm up the muscles and then focus on getting your head into the right frame of mind to get more intense after basketball
I'd alternate days between upper and lower body. Also between weights you can lift 4-5 times and weights you can lift 10-12 times.
