What exercises should I do at the gym as someone who is just starting out? And how can I help alievate anxiety and gain confidence and comfort?

So I went to the gym for my second day.

But this time, I went around 2:00 instead of 10:00. And there were a lot less “sweats” and intimidating athletic guys around. It was just average joes and the normies. So I wasn’t really in my head at all this time. I wasn’t worrying about other people. I did my own thing and that was that. Said hi to a guy I recognized even.

However, I was still nervous like my first time. Naturally my stomache still felt pretty off and so I decided not to start running or doing abb workouts and I focused strictly on arms and legs.

But regardless I managed to stay there for a pretty long time. When I first got there I was just playing basketball solo for 45 minutes to “loosen up” as my friend suggested I do. Then my arms felt all nice and stretched and I went around to doing workouts for an hour.

However after that hour I felt as though I’d done everything I could think of so I left. So how can I make myself feel more engaged? I just need more ideas.

Naturally I get that running and abbs would add more shit to do but I don’t feel ready for that just yet with all my anxiety I’m dealing with. When my stomache already feels off I’m kinda afraid to actually use it.

So if anyone knew of any arms/legs workouts that I could cycle through in a particular order with rep counts, that’d be cool to me!

And also if I should do certain things to help recover from muscle fatigue, or start using certain pills, vitamins, or energy drinks for muscle growth and replenishment.
