Get the flu yet?

Just had it, took down 3 of us, about a week down and several days totally wiped out. We had no flu shots. Death rate so far is 4500 died from flu.

This article indicates we're more vulnerable because we protected ourselves so much over the prior years with masks.

By the way, the CDC is recommending we wear masks again so we don't spread around viruses (at the beginning of a covid wave, RSV, and flu), since hospitals are getting taxed again. Gotta feel for hospitals, it appears to never stop. Contradictory yes, but what can ya do... it's a battle...

A lot of people are getting sick and strep infections are going around in schools too. I haven't got sick yet though and I've never really gotten so sick I couldn't do anything (hope I don't jinx it)

I got a flu shot and try to stay away from people. We will see what happens since I have been working again.

Nope I usually don't. I'll get a cold now and then, or a sinus infection, but that's about it

I don't think so. I wasn't feeling well the week of Thanksgiving. But I don't think it was the flu.
