I work at chipotle and burn 350-500 calories a day there and get 6k-10k steps if not more. Does that count as light exercise or do I actually need to do a workout later for it to be exercise?
I’m trying to lose weight, and when I used the calorie calculator it said for light exercise I should eat 1100-2000 calories- but now I don’t know if my working is even considered exercise.
to count as exercise, you need to sustain the activity for at least 20 min or more.
That way your heart rate goes up.
So depending on what you're doing if it last at least that long then yes it does.
At least that was what I learned years ago.
It may have changed now.
