I haven't worn my retainer in a few weeks, and I just put it in tonight. My mouth is sore by just having it on but it still goes on. Will my teeth shift back into place if I wear it all weekend?

They will but if you continue to do it every few week it won't retain your teeth well enough for it to matter. You'll have to do it more than the weekend to fix it.

They should, I would just keep wearing it till it stops hurting and then continue to wear it once a week after that.

It will, but only for a few hours. Maybe a day. You should try to wear it at least a few days a week. And I realize that is easier said than done. I hate my retainer.
