This upcoming week I will be getting me 2 week fill but I just got out the shower and I wash my lashes but they are so itchy. Some lashes are over grown I’m not sure if that’s causing the itching. 😒
If your lash extensions are causing itchiness, there are a few things you can try to alleviate the discomfort:
1. Avoid touching your lashes: Touching or rubbing your lash extensions can cause irritation and make the itching worse. Try to avoid touching your lashes as much as possible.
2. Use a cool compress: Applying a cool compress, such as a damp washcloth or cool teabags, can help reduce itching and inflammation.
3. Avoid oil-based products: Oil-based products can break down the adhesive used to attach your lash extensions, causing them to fall out more quickly. Avoid using oil-based skincare products or makeup around your eyes and lashes.
4. Use an over-the-counter anti-itch cream: You can apply an over-the-counter anti-itch cream, such as hydrocortisone, to the affected area to help reduce itching.
5. Talk to your lash technician: If the itching persists or becomes too uncomfortable, talk to your lash technician about potential solutions. They may be able to adjust the length or thickness of your lash extensions or recommend a different type of adhesive.
Remember, it's important to take good care of your lash extensions to prevent irritation and promote their longevity. Avoid rubbing or touching them, keep them clean, and avoid using oil-based products around your lashes. If you experience persistent itching or discomfort, don't hesitate to seek help from a professional.
