Is that looked at as being fat?
thanks !
10-14 is not fat. A size 14-16 is considered a large. And 10-12 is medium, so its a perfectly average size :) So no worries.
I know society is obsessed with being really thin, but not everyone has that body type naturally. I'd say if you are happy with how you look and you are healthy then what business is it of anybody else? :) Besides, it sounds like you carry your weight well Sounds like you are pear-shaped so that's good :) So I wouldn't worry about it.
I have been both skinny and fat, and honestly people are just as confused then as they are now. No one truly knows someone's exact size. I was a size 10-12 back when I was younger and I was 160 pounds. But I looked incredibly thin because most of my weight is carried in my boobs, butt and thighs. I wore a small size shorts and they were actually falling off. The only reason I needed a 10 or a 12 was because of my hips, they are wide. But you can't really change your structure. Most people would have probably guessed I was 100 pounds, but I was not :)
So just goes to show you how much people really know about what sizes look like with different people :)
In the "HOLLYWOOD" world it is considered fat/heavy but in reality it's actually considered average. I'm a size 10 and because of the world portraying people of my size and up to be considered "fat" it makes me feel bad and want to try harder to get back in my size 8's and would LOVE to get into a 6 but whatever happens happens, and I need to learn how to be accepting of myself just like you should too! I've learned that just because there is a number in a pair of jeans it doesn't always mean that is what size you really are! Different brands are made differently and what one pair you may wear a size 14 in you could wear a size 12 in another brand. You are who you are and we can't help what gene pool we come from, just take it and accept it and if you feel like you want to make a change or can make a change do it but don't do it for others, do it for yourself.
Just remember the saying: People that mind don't matter and people that matter don't mind!
All the sizes are messed up. You could try on a range of jeans and you would fit in different sizes for each. Also many countries have changed sizes down so you think you are in fact a smaller size, so you buy it and feel good about yourself. I wish there was a set sizing range that was accurate. Either way you're probably not fat.
It depends if you are talking about the UK or US sizing. If its a UK size 14 then it's like a medium size. If it's a US 14 then it is quite a large size.
No idea what a size 14 equals but curvy women are sexy

Anything more than 12 is pushing it. But if you're like 5'10, that's fine
14 may be the average in America however, obesity and overweight is also the norm in America
Why do women in America make all of the excuses for not being thin. Women all around the world manage to be less than a size 10, why so hard in America? Lol
Im like an 8 in dresses, and a 4 in jeans. Its damn hard to keep myself there.
Honestly, I would think it's heavy. But you also have to consider height and weight into it... it's not all about the jean size. If I wore a 10-14 at my height, I'd be absolutely massive and I couldn't picture ever being that size. And then I have a friend who has much taller than me who is around an 8 or 10 and she's not fat at all. So it really depends on more things than just your jean size to determine if you're heavy or not.
It depends on your height and body type. I am only a little bit over 5 feet tall and I wear a size 4-6 and I'm "curvy" too so I guess it depends. For me it would be a significant weight gain. I wouldn't call it skinny though. I would say you should go based on what your doctor says, if he/she thinks you are overweight or not.
It depends on your height and body type. A 5 foot tall size 14 girl might be fat, but I have friends who wear that size or something similar and they're 6'2". Visually, they are the skinniest girls I know.
Sizes vary from store to store. Also, one person can be fat and wear particular size and another person can be thin and wear the same size. It all comes down to overall build.
A 14 is average for an American woman. That being said, I have absolutely no idea what that means in terms of looks.
Depends what body shape you are, it could just be chubby if you're pear, but just check your weight :)
I wear size 8-10 and no I'm not fat at all I don't think anyways. I don't think that's even close to being overweight or fat. :)
I wouldn't necessarily say its fat,but it is considered plus size.
if your curvy then no, check your weight to be certain :)
I have no clue what a size 14 means. I wear 32x32.
Not if you're really curvy. (:
I would consider that heavy.
it's curvy, but don't go up in size anymore
