No; you play stupid games (taking an experimental medical treatment that's the first of an entire CATEGORY of drugs, which has NOT had time to be fully tested, to prevent death from an illness which we knew by then to be less lethal than chicken pox, thereby potentially spreading covid-level contagiousness to diseases that're actually dangerous, like TB or rabies or, heaven forbid, bird flu), you win stupid prizes.
I am, however, deeply concerned about the people who claimed to be "more logical" and "waiting for evidence" when it came time to resisting covid madness, but then threw that all out the door when people who got the damned Thalidomide shots started dying. "Sound scientific theory" only matters when it supports YOUR side, it seems.
Concerning, yes, strange, no. Not after the horror stories I've heard about it! after hearing of this kind of stuff, anybody that gets one must be a mental midget!! ESPECIALLY since they're not even needed!! There ARE things to cure it!
Isn't it strange how ONE person who took HCQ had a bad effect from, it and the media goes on a wild marketing blitz to tell you that it's BAD for you and you shouldn't use it, but, the shot has killed hundreds and permanently disfigured hundreds of others but the media still pushes the shot as perfectly safe and effective?

I'm fully vaccinated. Drama Queen still goes to school and brings a lot of nasty stuff, so I prefer to be safe than sorry.
In the last 3 years, I lost some family members because of covid. I won't risk Drama Queen entering her adult life without her mom ready to support her.
After my second shot I became very ill and have not recovered. I have terrible brain fog, my whole body hurts, fatigue.
This lady I know got her shots, then a booster. A few months later she had a silent heart attack. Her brain must have suffered because she doesn't seem like her old self anymore.
No, I am not fully vaccinated
I didn't vaccinate other than the young vaccines my parents made me take and currently have corona. I had it before and its slightly milder than last time, the worst is the second day where my muscles ached but in general its way milder than the flu I had last month.
Like you I pay active attention so I knew from the beginning the vaccines were mostly untested and very high risk. I also knew from the beginning that earlier attempts at sars vaccines made things worse for people.
Eventually you then learn the nuances of it such as different batches existing, placebo's probably being dispatched, etc. Which is why I think the effects are relatively contained even if still highly common by vaccine standards.
My dad did take it, luckily he was eligible for astrazenica which I knew was one of the safest. He did get heart issues from it but it only lasted a week, he didn't take them further and now seems to be doing fine. He is showing the exact same symptoms as me (I got the corona from him) and no longer has long term issues.
The MRNA ones I am highly concerned about as well what the long term effects are, but in general if a vaccine isn't effective long term after only one dose for those variants then its not a good vaccine and you'd do good to stay far away.
There have ALWAYS been a small percentage of people who are negatively affected from vaccinations.
Some are young, some are immunocompromised, some are allergic to some ingredients of vaccines.
This is why people are requested to wait 15 minutes after getting a vaccine and to REPORT ANY NEGATIVE results from vaccination immediately. And people are ASKED about any and all allergies and conditions they have BEFORE vaccination.
There are some young men and others who've developed heart complications from the Covid vaccine. The percentage of myocarditis infections among these young men was.0006 percent of teen and adolescent males: about 64 out of 100,000 people.
One to two people out of every million people given the flu shot are allergic to it. That's.000002 percent of people.
And, there is current research as to the reason for the myocarditis and new formulas that avoid this inflammation.
Despite these infections, the Covid vaccine, though it caused some infections, still provides protection from illness and death from Covid, and usually this inflammation clears up on its own. Harvard MD, and other reputable websites show papers on these factors.
I'm not vaccinated, but I'm not super paranoid about the vaccines either. I've had covid twice and don't feel like it's something I need a vaccine against so far. I'm not at risk of dying when sick with it. Just stuck in bed a few weeks feeling icky with a slightly hard time breathing.
I didn't get the flu vaccine for years until I actually started needing it due to swine flu being dangerous to me. It had my fever at over 107 for 3-4 days. Genuinely understood how people could have died from the flu historically with how much I was sweating and how feverish I was. If I didn't have a warm home and clean water I would have likely died. Had a bunch of blankets on me and still couldn't get "warm". Before that I'd always been naturally immune to flu viruses I'd encountered.
Back to covid, I do not like using new medicines. They almost always have lawsuits that follow them because companies cut corners. This pandemic gave companies an optimal environment to cut even more corners in a bid for a massive money grab, and that's exactly what many did. Everyone else can be the experimental mice. I'll wait it out until everything's been tested on everyone else and may get vaccinated with whatever is effective and the least harmful in the future. I'm the same way with my family about any procedure or medicine. 10-20 years on everyone else preferably, then we'll use it. The lawsuits against covid company vaccines are already going...
Outside of the covid vaccine, I have everything else and then some. Even got my rabies vaccines and some other stuff for traveling out of the country to other areas.
u I’m not fully vaccinated and I don’t plan to be. I got the first dosage of the vaccine and had a bad side effect with my heart, which caused a few hospital visits. My heart came right after about 7-8 months and I never got the second dosage or any boosters. Coming up 4 years since covid came to my country and I’ve never caught it. So I see no point in taking more of the vaccine, which will likely hurt me again, just to make the symptoms potentially less severe of a virus that I may never catch. Just my personal choice. I’m not anti-vax or against people who choose to get it.

I know I had to jabs against my will a couple of years ago because I was (and still am) living in a coutry that basically said "either you get vaccinated or you lose all basic human rights and privileges"
I'm not concerned about the deaths though. I think the vaccine is as overrated as the virus itself. Yes people got sick and people died, but that's the why it's been for all human history and that's the way it is today but people are no longer extra political about it sice the hype is dead.
I sincerely hope I never relive this in this lifetime because it hurt watching so many people toss common sense out the window and live in terror.
I have never had a single covid vaccine. I'm personally against being told to sit down shut up don't ask questions. Considering they have provablely lied about the "science " involving covid and the vax. I see no reason to trust them now. I've had covid 3 times. None of them have been that bad. barely an inconvenience.
Because the government lied about the vaccine and has since day one. Notice on the vaccine card there are six spaces for vaccine shot and the government said only two shot needed the cards were released a week after the two shot statement so they knew more than they stated and to this day the Biden government had not told the truth about anything I delayed as long as I could getting that poison injected into my body but it was either get the shot or lose my job. Unconstitutionally mandated by HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS JOE BIDEN. Was lucky got one shot of J and J not the other poison..
It's absolutely insane that people still think this is an actual vaccine. When those people discover the real truth they will have to reevaluate everything they thought they knew. I've observed that people feel much more comfortable convincing themselves of a lie rather than facing a very sinister, terrible and criminal truth. But those who created this poison knew exactly how to manipulate our tendency to hold onto a lie because of pride or ego.
I've have taken various vaccinations, but when it comes to the experimental COVID-19 vaccines I didn't take any. My entire immediate family listened to me and none of them have take a single dose either. None of us has caught COVID-19, had the common cold, or influenza since the start of the pandemic.
I’m not. I genuinely feel bad for most of these people. Theh really didn’t know any better. You’re not politicizing their deaths. You’re trying to save some lives here.

I love working with computers but I didn't give in, luckily my employer didn't force it even if they put a bit of pressure. I held my foot firm and actually was able to gain respect from my colleagues for my stance since they could tell I wasn't just doing it out of stubborn selfishness but because I had properly calculated the risks of getting corona (Which I actually have atm just like last year, but so does my vaccinated dad with the same symptoms) versus the risks of the vaccine. Corona for me manifests as something a little bit milder than the flu but with more muscle aches. Other than that its very flu like, so I definitely made the right call.
I find it more concerning someone goes out there way to cherry pick certain cases to try make a point and also never riddles to question the opposite as in look at how many didn't die lol.
I am not vaxed for covid but that's due to laziness not dumb anti-vax views.

It's still staggeringly low it's just the fact of you along with other anti-vaxxers are trying to hype it up. If you look at any other type of medication out there or ya know the virus it's self you will see they have way more side effects and deaths. When it comes from suspicious death by vaccine that's honestly the body just rejecting it. Which your body can do that with anything, so by that logic they should just not do anything and they could certainly have the exact same reaction to the proper live virus.
Because ya know a live virus is much more dangerous than ones in vaccines that have been made dead or unable to spread.

The fact they let hundreds of thousands of people die and even more be permanently injured made me loose all faith in the agencies that are meant to oversee the approval.

It was much less safe, first of all they took the spike protein which was the harmful part of the virus and made the vaccines inject that part. And then secondly the MRNA delivery system had the unfortunate consequences for some that it ended up in dangerous places in their body, thats where all the heart conditions came from. Corona itself doesn't cause those.
You play the whole anti-vaxxers are dumb argument here but you don't even know how the vaccine worked and instead generalize. If it was genuinely just dead virus, no bad adjectives, proper testing beforehand and then no attributable deaths (Like with a normal vaccine) it would be fine and i'd probably have taken it.
But that's not what it was and under normal market circumstances those vaccines would have never been allowed. The reason it turned me "Anti-vax" is not because I inherently think vaccines are bad, its because I lost all trust in the instances that are supposed to ensure they are safe. Some of the batches of corona were contaminated, and they had various types of batches including ones the agencies didn't review.
So instead of trying to act like a morally superior smartass who despite not even knowing what was in the vaccine 3 messages ago go do some actual research on it.

However you are making fair points, which is only concerning this vaccine. And myself don't know much about it tbf because I don't really care, but I knew it was all kinda of rushed anyway which makes sense that this time was much risker.
But at the same time it's gotta be better than the virus right? Or maybe not. I don't know.
Will say though my mum and I know of many vaccinated who were 100% fine and my mum is even auto-immune and has many issues. That's of course anecdotal but so is looking at a few social media posts of people dying. Not really hard evidence is that.

Its not better than the virus (I can tell since I have it as we speak its in between a cold and a flu), the MRNA one specifically was a vaccine designed to be injected into your muscle. The reason the extreme adverse events are so high is because while in theory thats fine in practise thats a very different story. If they injected and either purposefully due to not knowing or accidentally hit a vain it would be transported all over the body. And then those spike proteins had a blood clotting risk. Because its then in your blood stream it ends up in all kinds of places you don't want such a vaccine to be and you could get heart inflammation.
So it was basically Russian roulette on two levels. The decently large amount of contaminated batches that caused the majority of the issues, and the people who were injected incorrectly. Meanwhile the people who had the vaccine had symptoms either equal or worse than me.
@sawno Well if the contaminated batches are more the issue really so one just has to get lucky and be in a place in which they weren't. So rushed issues which I suspected anyway.
Vaccines have always had though a chance for blood clots that's been a known thing way before these ones, that's the main risk that's common with any vaccine and was spoke about way before these vaccines came out. So that's not a new thing from these ones, though could be higher risk I suppose but I don't know such data and dunno if this method has been used before and it was okay.
Anyway if it's due to humans error and been rushed that's different to been opposed to just vaccines. So I am not really speaking about you when I speak of anti-vaxxers. I am speaking of people who reject the idea cause they think vaccines in general are harmful.
Rejecting the vaccine for any actual reason other than just been opposed to the whole idea is not something I was going against. Like I said myself don't have it due to laziness so I am not been a hypocrite advocating you must get it or something.
Though I will still stick to my point the difference between how many died and those who didn't is still way more in your favour. If someone told me do this for 1Billion dollars but there is a under a 1% chance you would die I would take those odds any day.
I think so, because at 70, I don't need tetanus, shingles and pneumonia, for all of which I was recently vaccinated.(I've had five Covid-19 vaccines as well.)

Like you said you’ve had 5 vaccines but it every single person is going to die, yet the massive number of them dying “suddenly” whom many are young with no prior health issues is extremely concerning.
Not that it is anyone's business, but I had COVID long before the vaccines came out and my dcotor said, "You're young and healthy. Your natural immunity will probably be as good or better than anything they will come up with." That was before the vaccines ever came out. I trusted the doctor and have had no problem.

It's called medical progress and common sense. Before the age of Facebook "news" and YouTube "universities" nobody in their right mind would have questioned that. Apart from that, I am part of a risk group and had two colleagues die and two or three others gravely ill in the ICUs (before vaccines were available).
Of course I am all for finding out what caused some people to react badly to a vaccine and how to improve them further. In case of a dangerous pandemic there is no other solution than large-scale vaccination.

There are half a dozen different vaccine distribution vectors available, for the people that are unsure of the new mRNA type vector. Those demanding the oldest of old-school medicine can use the century-old inactivated vaccine type.

My parents FORCED me in 2021 when it came out. Took until 2022 to have me finally give in. ALL of my family is vaccinated. I took the Pfizer two shot vax. It's funny. The year I did get vaxxed, in Dec, I caught COVID! Lol. Funny.
I got two shots and then one booster. I wasn’t worried about dying from it but I am not gonna continue getting them every fucking time a new one comes out! It was sold to us as a cure but it clearly wasn’t.
I stopped after two vaccines. I’m sure I would’ve been okay with zero though. Never got sick because I never went outside.
I took the first two jabs. But will not be taking the boosters. Too many younger people with what they are calling micro blood clots. Some doctors are having success with treating these people after them being sick for many months!
