My parents have second degree or third degree connections that died from the vaccine but they also have second or third degree connections that died from the virus. So both viral symptoms and vaccine side effects can cause harm to others. I think most people agree the risk of not taking the vaccine is higher than the risk of taking the vaccine but unless you are dead, everything you do has risk, whether you get the vaccine or avoid it.

They don't. Side effects from the shots aren't common, and serious side effects are quite rare. That doesn't justify rushing the damn things out without proper testing, mind you, and the evidence suggests that they're far more dangerous than Covid itself, especially for the young and healthy, but falling into hyperbole just undermines your point.

Most people who get the shots are just fine.
