Ever since I stumbled onto a ND forum I have been increasingly running into material that suggests I have adhd and some autism or at least i fit the profile as relate 99% with people diagnoses with the aU/dhd

I don’t really care if I have it or not the ground are 💯 helpful to me bc of all the people who have the same experiences or many of the tendencies I shed in how I navigate situations and, I narrate everything. My life my minute my yesterday my tomorrow My conversations last and present my life as it was if I did the thing I didn’t do right.

I took this for fun and the funny tho not unexpected thing which is why I did it both as woman and man. Bc I expected this kind of thing but anyhow. When I submitted my answer as a man I scored the exact same number # n the spectrum, with a healthy level of confidence that I scored as a woman, with “low self esteem”

Same exact answers same exact scores same exact delineation of tendencies. They just made it different based on gender. That was snooping 🤷🏻‍♀️

My boyfriend had ADHD all his life. But I noticed when he was in the bathroom, shaving, 🚿 showering, shutting, that he would talk to himself. My ear could never get close enough to the door to hear what he was talking about - but it all made perfect sense. He used to do it all the time. 🙄

I have adhd and I personally don’t believe this is true. I believe that what people see as a disability is a blessing we were gifted with. My reaction time or focus may not always be up to par with what people expect but I have patience for things most people don’t have and to me that’s a huge weight off my shoulders.

I talk to myself in my head all the time like a commercial but I don't have ADHD. A lot of my casual thought processing is me just elevator pitching what I enjoy.

I think it's all about how your own ADHD affects you. Like for example, I daydream a lot due to it being easier to pay attention to. But I don't narrate my life.

That's normal for any person and ADHD isn't a disease it's just a copping mechanism.
