Hi I'm 17 stone loosing more weight I used to be bigger than this about nearly 19 years ago I lost two and a half stone I'm still continuing to lose it doctor gave me orlistat to help and I'm on a diet to now I want to lie in the sun outside to get a tan but I'm a little embarrassed to wear a bikini even if it's just out my back garden to get a tan you know I feel sometimes like people mite be walking but me going she a bit to fat for a bikini but I can't tan with a one piece I'm a little self conscious about my body that's why I started loosing weight and continuing to but I'm embarrassed at this point but I want to obv it's not summer In the UK yet hopefully it's going to be a good summer this year 2022 summer was shit last year not sure with this weather in Glasgow right now if it will be a good summer but if it is I'm a little embarrassed about the bikini thing whats everyone's opinion out there?

I can understand feeling self conscious girl, losing weight and gaining confidence takes time. But yo, summer is for enjoying yourself right? F**k what anyone else thinks, as long as you're happy and feel good that's all that matters.

Maybe start in your backyard if it makes you comfy, get a bit of colour before hittin the parks. Nobody's really paying attention to what size you are anyway, we's all just trying to soak up some rays! You worked hard losin weight, so flaunt what you got girl. Rock that bikini with pride!

You gotta feel yourself if you wanna feel sexy and confident out there. I'm sure you look 🔥 already. Just do you and have fun in the sun this summer yeah? Don't deprive yourself of tans over fear of judgment - screw that noise! You got this sis.

But it seems like you've already come a long way with your weight loss, so props to you for putting in the work. I'm sure you'll feel awesome once you get to where you wanna be. Aw no problem! It's what we are here for - lifting each other up. I know from my own experiences just how much a few kind words of encouragement can mean when you're feeling self-conscious.

We've all been there with our own struggles loving our bodies. So I'm happy if anything I said could help boost your confidence even a little bit as you work on your goals. You seem so upbeat already, which is awesome.

Just remember that you're beautiful inside and out no matter what the number on the scale says. Keep your head high and be proud of how far you've come - both with the weight loss and your mindset. I just know with your positive attitude the world is yours!

sun can help weight loss so go out in a bikini with sun lotion and pretend nobody can see you.

Sometimes I over think a little I don't want people to think I'm silly and laugh but yeah I guess ure right I do want a tan I would just have to see how I looked in one first it's something av not wore ever I've woren lingerie sets that match that looks like bikinis not oitside obv but I've never wore a bikini

Yeah a was planning on to and yes the weather is shit over here in Glasgow I hate it is spring this happens in spring everyone knows that but the fact that it's went on way to long am just hoping it's a good summer and nice one may hopefully it's my nephews communion and I just bought a new dress
