Unless your rushed you shouldn't drink protein shakes. Many of those things aren't really good for you. Research has proven that, and the FDA doesn't recommend them either. Your best bet is eating foods that are high in protein and low in fat, especially after a workout. If you don't think I know what I talking about look it up, and I have a B.S. in nutrition. Asides from that you my very own personal experience can call it too. I use to take various protein shakes, within cycles. Meaning off and on. But I always got better result off them than when I was on them. So maybe it's a cognitive thing for me, but I probably won't go back. I'm completely shredded and haven't drank a protein shake for months. Oh, and I'm a personal trainer as well.

ive personally tried, mass-tech, GNC gold, tru-mass, whey, and casein (various brands). the real question is what do you want to gain from protein...size or cutting? if your trying to cut I would recommend muscle mik or syntha-6. keep the calories low.

Try muscle milk after you work out or before...eggs are good protein...or whey protein shakes are good too(my friend the strongest guy in the state uses whey)
