Trending & News Reverse sled pulls will fix your knee issues. It's low impact and strengthens the supporting muscles that keep your knee in proper alignment. They're the best thing you can do for knee health.
I fried my knees by my mid twenties but now a decade later and they're tipping top shape despite my continued abuse of them. I highly recommend you start doing reverse sled pulls.
grab some 45's, bind them together, attach them to a waist belt and drag them along the ground while walking backwards. You can use plates, tires, sand bags, or anything really, you just need resistance while walking backwards.
Alternatively you can walk backwards on a treadmill at an incline. Walking up hill backwards serves the same purpose as the treadmill. I've also seen people use resistance bands where they attach a couple in chain and walk them out backwards. Walking backwards through sand also works.
You'll outgrow those methods quickly without heavy resistance but you'll still get a lot of benefit out of them if you've never done reverse pulls before. It won't take much the first couple times you do it.
There really are a 1000 in 1 ways to go about doing it. If your gym doesn't have a sled, improvise.
It's one of those things that don't get hit doing any other movements and in the initial stages it really doesn't take much to feel the burn.
The downside is that because it's such a under trained movement, you'll quickly plateau without resistance. The amount of time you'll have to spend on a treadmill to continue seeing results will grow exponentially.
If you do it twice a week, after 3-4 weeks, you'll need to find a way to incorporate resistance to better manage your time. Who wants to spend 40minutes walking backwards on a treadmill when you can get better results with a sled in less than 5minutes, you know what I mean?
Once you plateau on the treadmill and the time requirement is too much... you can also try using a cable machine with a good amount of throw on it if you can't find anything else.
Set the pulley a little bit below your waist, get a straight bar, lock your hands to your hips, lean back slightly, and then walk it backwards to the to maximum throw of the machine. You'll likely only get 2-3 steps in but if you do enough weight, it'll still save you time.
Stick with it for a couple months and you'll start to notice a lot less knee pains.
Push a sled then pull it while walking backwards. Look up knees over toes guy. He is the best knee rehab guy there is.
Ah, to have this kind of problem again lol. Squats and proper stretching are great.
But have you also tried.. grinding? :)
Maybe try some Arnica tablets and hydrate with good water.

If it was me you were being sexual with cowgirl style @Hhhyv666 I'd lay on my back on top of the nice soft duvet, which I'm sure would 'cushion' your knees comfortably?
I have strong legs, so it has never been an issue for me.
At this age, not much can be done for your bones which started deterioration, no pain no gain 🤣
At least you're enjoying something, be thankful 😂
