How can I make my abs more cut?

Awhile back I started working on my abs a bunch and they got really cut .. but I stopped working on them so much because it felt like he workouts weren't helping anymore.. and now it looks/feels like they're starting to fade away...

but every time I do the work outs, it only burns for the time being.. and I doesn't feel sore or weak after the work outs like it used to..

can someone help me with a way to make them better or get them back to how they used to be? or give me any abdominal workouts?

i've been trying to do thisfor rugby, so when I get hit I won't get the wind knocked clean out of mee..
