What can one do before the concert not to get dehydrated quickly?
Get in the habit of beginning and ending each DAY with a bottle's worth of water.
Begin each day with a vitamin B supplement.
Cutting salt for the day before and of the concert is a good idea.
I never eat big bready/pasta type foods on concert days. They dehydrate me even when I am not dancing.
Caffeine is of course, right out, including RedBull which is fuuuuul of it.
Wear breathable loose cotton tee shirt to avoid excessive sweating.
Have a glass of water on your way out and again when you arrive.
Have a banana before you go, the potassium helps regulate our body salts- it's a common snack for marathon runners.
My best 'feel good' meal before big nights out is just a big salad with a little protein. People seem to forget that salad greens are mostly water and their chlorophyll is a fluid regulator/cleanser for our bodily systems.
Ending a night out with a vanilla milkshake is good too- the B vitamins, again. But, not chocolate or coffee milkshakes- they dehydrate.I have milkshakes on my way to the concert, sometimes, too. I've read that dairy and protein regulate body sugars which,if imbalanced can lead to feeling thirsty even when we are not.
"No alcohol or ciggies"
are always best to avoid if you want to just dance and don't want to be dehydrated but, I know for many partiers, those exclusions would defeat the purpose of a 'night out'. So, if you have a drink or ingest a drug, have water before and after that.
I know you don't want to leave the floor to get more water so, invest in one of those 'beer hats' and fill it with two Evians instead :D
I dance with at least a half-full water bottle at all times. Some clubs sell them for a $ if you just ask or you can ask for it with your drink. I even bring water with me and when I get to the club, if it's not empty already, I fold it in my coat pocket or make it otherwise innocuous . Once inside, I ask the bartender to fill it at the faucet as I tip him a dollar.
And my last bit of advice: ask Noel Fielding -gorgeous skin,round-the-clock partier,said-to-be sober and known 'shape puller'
Gatorade beforehand and lots of water before as well during the day. Then another thing of Gatorade afterward and more water. That is what I do when I got to dance clubs and shake it all night.
i have no idea why people drink gatorade... why not just water?
it's not before but hours before the concert, e.g. if the concert is at night start drinking water from the morning, possibly even the day before, so you're fully top up when you arrive there. I would say just ignore gatorade and sh*t, we were made for water. Also, eat lots of vegetables and fruits all day and the day before, aoiding salty things, chips, burgers etc.

also, you can put your nametape on it so you know it's yours and nobody drinks from it by mistake
think again how the heck I'm going to bring this thing into the club... Its actually would've been so cool if I could. Instead of water I would have champagne in it. Champagne showers perhaps? (:

Maybe some Gatorade or Vitamin Water.A beverage that has electolytes.Or you could carry a water bottle with you.
Drink Red Bull and vodka and take some Ecstasy. Joke, don't do that, ever.
