I am the exact same height but I am also a mesomorphic so its pretty much all muscle, I am 185lbs now but am in the same position as you. I want to gain more weight... which Id more easily be able to do if I wasn't a cheapskate no money student lol. All I can suggest is just eating more high healthy fat foods, eat lots of chicken (meats in general especially red meats), eggs, NUTS! especially cashews will give you healthy fats but try to make it not fat... I know you want to gain weight but you will probably dislike it, fat for the sake of gaining weight is terrible for you. If all else fails, have lots of protein shakes lol
Since you don't care about fat too much, just drink plenty of milk and eat fast food.
Yes full body work out is pretty good overall, but once or twice a week you should do a little workout where you focus on only one muscle group and work out that intense. Switch muscle groups every 2 or 3 months.
Muscle mass that stays does need at least 3 months to develop, depending on your body type it may take longer
