You definitely don't have to be thin. There are actually a lot of chubby girls that I've been attracted to. I think they're hot. And no, being thinner DOES NOT make you more attractive. If I think you're attractive, and then you lose a lot of weight, I might not be attracted to you anymore.
What's more - thin girls just aren't hot. Especially if you have EXTREMELY skinny arms. But what kills me the most, are overly thin legs. They're awful! ;__; Especially to me, because I love legs a lot.
I wish girls would stop obsessing so much about losing weight. I've seen girls go to stores, and trying their hardest to find a dress that's one size smaller than their actual size. Just so that they can say they're a size 2, when they're actually a size 3? SO WHAT?! It's ridiculous! .__.
As a rule of thumb, unless you are straight-up FAT, if guys don't find you attractive, it's not going to be because of your weight. It's not because you're not SUPER-skinny. Most of the time when we like a skinny girl, it's either because she has a very pretty face, or just nice boobs. It has very little to do with the fact that she's skinny.
Once again, just because a girl is skinnier than another one, does NOT mean she is more attractive! If we do, in fact, find the skinnier girl more attractive, it will be because of a bunch of OTHER reasons, that has nothing to do with her being skinny. Also, what girls sometimes refuse to acknowledge, is that sometimes we'll go for the skinny girl because the other girl just ISN'T attractive! And unless that other girl is overweight, it's not gonna be because she's not as skinny.
I'll give you some tips though, as to how to make a guy like you as more than a friend. But you might not like it. Basically, show yourself off a bit. If you're always covering yourself up, guys aren't really going to "want" you. As soon as you start showing them you're actually hot, they'll start noticing you more, and wanting to talk with you. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY'LL JUST WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU! THAT'S A STUPID MYTH THAT GIRLS MAKE UP INSIDE THEIR HEADS!
Attraction is an emotional response.. it's not logical.
So if you want a guy to choose you over some other girl? Build attraction... push his emotional buttons.
At first we guys will notice a girl based on her looks... we're superficial because that's all we can see.. .the surface.
But when we meet you and talk to you THAT'S when a girl with a fun personality, who knows how to tease us, or playfully flirt with us, will always win over a girl who's "just thin."
When you make a dude laugh, or smile, or wonder if you're flirting or not... that's when you've got him.
So make sure you make an emotional impression if you're after some cute guy.
And finally, realize that the superficial dudes, who care only about boobs and ass, are not fun to be with and will lose interest with you the moment someone else comes along.

Well I'm gonna admit it, I like to see sexy and handsome girl but that can't be my No1 choice in selection. I don't like too skiny girls but when they have nice body I just like when they give themselves good care but always, always I would choose girl with nice face expressions, to put it that way :)
not important at all. it's only important if you think it is. Now, in saying that,obviously don't be obese or overweight either. you'll be fine and sound like you have a body anyway.
