Is it harder for a shorter girl to stay skinny?

The portions are too large for a more petite girl!

So it HAS TO BE harder for a petite girl to look skinny!

I find skinny women very attractive, but not necessarily tall skinny women!

A taller women (5 foot 8+) can be like a size 3 and appear to be very thin.

Where as a shorter women (5 foot 2-)can be a size three and appear to be much bigger.

I like it when a women is ACTUALLY skinnier and not a lengthened version of a medium sized chick.

You understand?

Well, when I see shorter women, it is more common for them to be average sized and appear bigger.

So is it much harder for a shorter girl to look and stay skinny because of their body size, food portions and general human physique?

I find shorter women SOOOOO much more attractive then taller women! But it seems that a skinny and short girl is VERY RARE!

I guess I rather have a taller skinny girl then a shorter non skinny girl.


I guess I can't have short and skinny, being the ultimate petite beauty.

yes it is harder for a shorter girl to be thinner. I am short and I wear a size 4 or 6. if I was tall and I wore that size I would probably look skinny. but since I am short the same size of a 4-6 body is in a smaller package, on a tall girl it would be more spread out. I am 5"1 and my friend is 5"8 or 5"9, we share clothes sometimes but she is much thinner looking than I am. she has long legs and even though her legs aren't that skinny their length makes them look long and sexy. I have short thick thighs, I keep them toned but still. a lot of it is not having long legs. long legs look thinner and the same torso on long legs would definitely look thinner than on short legs.

Im 5'1 and I have a stocky frame, so hell yes it is hard for me to stay skinny.

I'm not naturally slender and I am built more to put on muscle and bulk than I am to be lean.

It is hard for me to lose weight but if I put on a few pounds you can really tell. Because I am so small, it takes a lot less calories to run my body which means I have to really cut back when I want to lose weight and in many ways I have to work harder at loseing it.

I currently am 5'1, 135lbs but wear a size 4 in pants, small to medium shirts and size 6 dresses.

My shoulders are broad and while I cannot run super fast I can fight and box :).

Its hard for all girls to stay skinny but the problem with being shorter is that the weight is visible faster/more clearly since the frame is so small that it can't be distributed in an unnoticable manner

Yes it's harder for shorter girls to look thin because they are more hourglass shaped, naturally,

And, a couple of extra pounds will show on them right away, while a tall girl won't show any difference with the same amount of extra weight.

Short girls can look just as athletic, but they have to be a little more careful about gaining a few pounds!

No, there is no correlation between being shorter and the amount of fat you build up. A short girl can still be skinny and find it difficult to gain weight because it's all about the metabolism.

But also, the smaller your body the less calories you burn naturally, not including exercise. It takes less calories to run your body which means it is easier to consume more than your maintainance calories.

Lol that was my point! The metabolism is slower so its so much easier to eat more calories than you need.

I think the eating less is the issue, as I pointed out..the portions are larger.

So if there is a short skinny girl, she probably eats half of what her big manly boyfriend eats.

does she like sit and drink water SLOOWWLLLY to make up for eating time?

Also, the portions are HUGE, it must be hard to control, especially if she is hungry.

well I'm tall, and one advantage of being tall is that say if you gain 10-20 lbs there is a lot more inches for the weight to go so it doesn't look as much as if a 5'2 girl gained that much weight. being skinny is not in the cards for everyone, I have a naturally thicker athletic frame and if I ever wanted to get as skinny as some girls, I'd have to suffer lol

I have been skinny since birth, and stopped growing at 5'2" never went past 115 in weight once I stopped growing, and I eat anything I want.

I am used to living in the South and particularly in Florida where there are MANY more women that fit your description.

Hellz yeah. Taller people can carry more weight. Yet the stomach is the same size lol.
