I don't think it is sexiest to watch male sports but not female sports. People watch sports to observe competition, and talented individuals that do amazing things. I'm more likely to see a very amazing play in a mans sport that I watch then a woman's sport because they are playing to a higher caliber. For example, watching hockey the men skate faster, they check harder, they hit the puck faster and they pull off some amazing plays. If I were into a sport like high diving, I may find that women bring more grace to the sport and pull off some amazing dives... That's just not what interests me. Hockey, Boxing, Soccer, Basketball, etc tend to be more competitive when played by men, and thus more entertaining.
I don't watch a lot of tennis, but when I do, it's usually women's. I find it more graceful and pleasing to the eye (and ear).
idk if each individual is consciously sexist, but yes there is a sexist undertone in society about women in sports.
in any case, I don't watch them. I don't watch male sports either. occasionally I may flick on the TV to watch something, mainly during olympics, but not really. I'm not a sports fan.
