pls help!
What are some foods that give you a lot of energy for work?
pls help!
The key is to start off very small. Youd be surprised that once you get started exercising, you make great strides. I started working out 6 months ago and I was in your very situation. 6 months ago it took me 11 minutes to run a mile and nearly passed out afterward. After 6 months of training, I'm running 6 miles in 45 minutes.
You provide very little details about your diet which is a major factor. One thing that gives me energy and actually makes you feel healthier is wheat grass. Its an all natural grass in the form of a shake. It tastes terrible, but its really good for you and on most people, it has the same effect as coffee. Your headaches may be as a result of overdosing on caffeine.
In terms of exercising, any type of cardio exercise will increase your energy level over time, such as running, exercise bikes, etc. I understand you have knee issues, so look into other forms of cardio until it gets better.
Another thing that I stumbled upon that makes you feel better is stretching your muscles every morning, regardless of how active you're going to be.
My best suggestion is clean up your diet a bit and just begin minor exercising. if you're unable due to knee issues, try minimal weight training until you're able to use it again. Good luck.
thank you so much! what kind of weight exercises do you recommend? like lifting dumbbells? and where do I buy wheat grass?
It won't let me comment on my previous answer so I'll just write another one lol. To answer your question, I get wheatgrass at a small country store, but you can get it online on various sites. Try googling it. Typically, price varies but it comes out to be about $1 per shake. Your question about the weights...typically most girls lift weights just to tone, so start out with really small weights. A lot of girls I know like working shoulders.
I can't post any links because it won't let me because I'm not at level 4 lol, so you'll have to do the googling yourself. As I said, keep the weights small. Also note, if you notice you don't start to lose weight, its because the fat you're burning is being replaced with new muscle fibers. Don't get discouraged.
I worked in retail so I can give you tips.
Eat a decent breakfast with protein in it, like eggs and toast or pb on an English muffin.
Drink water frequently throughout the day. Make sure you have a filling (but small) meal at break time so that you're not famished. I used to have 2 5-pc chicken nuggets.
You also should probably go on a 30 minute walk at least 4 days a week. Even if you stand up all day at work, that's really not aerobic exercise, so that's probably why you feel so weak.
thank you that's good advice! your right...i stand for 8 hrs a day! and its crushing my body! when I didn't have a job id go work out at the gym and walk a lot I felt so much better now I'm so weak!
