Best contraceptive...?

I want to have a reliable source so I don't get knocked up! there are 3 I would not mind (the patch, Implant, intrauterine system(IUS) because you don't have to think about it everyday like the pill. it is very sad but I don't like my mum to think I have it until I find a boyfriend but there are things she doesn't need to know, I live with her and I am on the same time as the month as her and she will get my pads etc.. I hear you may come off your period or be irregular so I don't want her to notice which one will keep I regular period? thanks :)

Periods can become irregular due to diet and health issues as well so it's possible to tell your mother that might be the cause of your period desyncing. The best contraceptive is not to have sex at all but we all know that's out of the question. If you're looking for something that you don't have to think about then perhaps a birth control needle, patch, IUS, and anything along those lines may be best for you. Not much beats a good old fashioned condom though in terms of preventing pregnancy and STI's. You only need to think about that when you're just about to have sex.

well I have the mirena and that will make your period irregular for a bit and slowly make it lighter til you barely have one if at all...so if you want a reg period you might now want that. I'm pretty sure the patch will keep you regular though
