Help! I'm doing a 'Come Dine With Me' experience and need some menu ideas!

I'm doing a Come Dine with me style dinner party with three other people, so I need some ideas for a starter, a main meal and a dessert.

The evening also needs to be Themed (Italian, 70's, Barbecue ect..) be imaginative and creative!

There also needs to be a vegetarian alternative to the starter and main.

I really need some inspiration, nothing over the top though.

All advice welcome! I get £500 if I win, so help me out.

I went to a dinner party quite awhile that was a caribbean theme, jerk chicken & seafood and you can do really nice rice dishes for the veggies, and fruity cocktails. I'm not much help however because cheese on toast is as far as my culinary skills go >_<

egg plant parmasana and grilled chicken ., For the starter some grilled asparagus, some grilled peppers served with a fresh greek yougurt dip. for dessert, dessert pizza
