Crunches do not tone you. They just clump your fat together. Eat a body builders diet, ALL CLEAN, my dear! Meats N Greens is the key! I am a girl almost 30yrs old and get mistaken for a little 16yr old girl. I have kids and my stomach is washboard flat and I do not work out regularly because I am always busy busy busy. We own a business and have 3 children. Hella crazy. I do pole dancing in the privacy of my own home and my husband confuses his muscles in a different way. He is 42 and used to have the dunlop. Yoga is good for toning mid section and more, doing dips, kick boxing, dancing, martial arts, basically anything to confuse those muscles. doing too much of the same workout will not give you good results, trust me. I have learned the hard way. I gained weight and fat instead of getting the results that I wanted. Best of Luck!

Cardio. And lots of ab work. Toe touchers (lie on your back, feet in the air and lift your hands towards your toes) and bicycles (move your legs like you're riding a bike and then lift one shoulder off the ground at a time using your abs) are best.
You said you don't need to lose weight and want to work on your abs... Try tri-sets of ab workouts... Start with crunches for example... Correct form is always important when exercisin... Do your crunches fast to work on all the fibers and hit every muscle in your core area... After that set try planks... Try to hold your planks for as long as you can and at least a minimum of 60 seconds... Then try hanging leg lifts and just like the crunches as fast and as many as you can... Try 3 sets of each one after another until muscle failure... These are just examples, there are many ab workouts.. Tri sets are the best way to get it done and not get bored especially if your hitting all parts of your core...
The ONLY way to get a six-pack is to reduce your body fat percentage below 10%, which is accomplished through strict diet and exercise. Your abs are always there, they are just covered by adipose fat in most people. Doing crunches will make your abs stronger but as long as you have a high body fat % they will always be covered underneath abdominal fat and will not *appear* toned. It is not possible to selectively lose fat in specific parts of your body - you have to lose it all over with a comprehensive workout and watching your calories. There's no one specific exercise that will give you visibly toned abs.

"I don't like doing them" that's cause you're weak in those areas, hence need to continue doing them! Also working out abs is the same as working out any other body part except they can take a lot more abuse, so make sure you work them out that way. I.e. change your exercises around every 6 weeks so your body doesn't get used to them, work with a tempo with weight etc...
Diet!: Oatmean, whole grain breads, fruits and veggies, nuts, eggs, chick and fish and drink lots of water.
Then excersize!:Cardio which is running or swimming
weighlifting..
then ab workouts to gain some muscle and put that good food to use!You can't spot reduce, you have to lower your over all body fat. But the bottom part of your torso is the last place fat usual comes off.
There is no such thing as 'toning up'. How toned your muscles are depends on the size of your muscles, your genetics and how much body fat you have. Most likely you need to lose some fat.
Drink a lot of water, it helped me and cardio work out, do it in the morning before you eat your first meal so you will burn the fat and not the morning breakfast

I do this every day, works very well. If you want a stomach like mine please message me. I can tone up your stomach within a short amount of time
The best way to get that definition in the tummy is to burn fat and get to below 10% body fat. Your abs are there if you do core exercises like deadlifts and squats.
Heavy squats and deadlifts, hanging leg raises, ab wheel done correctly and if possible from your toes not your knees.
What types of food do you typically eat? Don't generalize.
For the abs its definitely a good mixture of exercise and diet. So be careful what you eat (sodium really adds on water weight!)
The best way is to make some crunches or some ab exercises. Also, what you eat determines it.
Try some push ups and curl up every morning. For sure, you can have a tone tummy. Don't drink much alcoholic beverages. Goodluck!
