White spots on teeth?

I'm 19. I have white teeth but on my front top teeth I have white spots on them. Is that bad?

They need to be strengthened/remineralised with the nutrients in your saliva. If you keep your mouth closed when you sleep at night it should start to disappear. If not, it's probably because of water fluoridation when you were younger. Use a tooth mousse when you sleep at night. :)

they I think make a special toothpaste for that its not good like the other anonymous user had said my brother has it probably worse than you do he needs a special toothpaste

It's not getting enough minerals from your saliva, that's what's wrong with it. Look up GC tooth mousse, there might be some info along with the product.

teeth are constantly exposed to plaque. When plaque is left on the tooth for a full three weeks without proper brushing, the plaque bacteria begins to produce an acid. This acid wears away at the enamel of the tooth causing it to appear white. (and if you ever worn braces like I have that is the main reason because it was hard to get plaque off very well when I had braces I have a few white spots but not many)

I didn't brush when I was younger and used a home whitening kit for months cause I want to start looking after them.

then yeah your like my brother he never brushed as a kid and with braces same thing so he has a lot of white spots to brush more use mouthwash also (that's what my dentist told him) and there is special toothpaste you can use for that ask your dentist next time you are there
