Does anyone know of a quick and easy way to get rid of bruises or stop them from forming?

I got into a mini biking accident the other day which left me with a couple of scratches,but now there is a bruise forming on my leg that is turning burgundy and blue! Seriously...what can I do to heal it? :o

Ice it to stop spreading, then day 2 apply heat and massage the area to promote circulation. (Heated damp cloth works)

Or, apply vitamin K lotion. I've also hear rubbing the inside of a banana peel on a bruise helps, but I've never tried it.

Go to your doctor and ask because I had a water skiing accident and I had a black eye forming and I was given this cream that heals bruises really fast but I can't remember what is was called.

Rub vitamin E oil on the bruise, plus eat vitamin E oil whole. Also, get plenty of rest, and drink lots of water. Also, double up the vitamin E with coconut oil. Slather that stuff on and try not to agitate the area.

Old fashioned remedy meat works well. Niacin works well also. Wow when are you going to get a break? And I did not mean a bone.

OMG, no offense but I seriously thought that remedy was more of an "ethically known" remedy. Cool to know that its a widely known home remedy. When I was a kid I got this nasty gash on my left eyebrow my mom put some meat over it and it healed really quickly within two days. Its a really great but somewhat gross remedy. lol
